The Glasgow Clan is delighted to confirm that British forward Austin Mitchell-King has signed a contract extension to return for the 2026/27 season.

The young British forward arrived in Glasgow ahead of the 2025/26 campaign following three impressive seasons with the Peterborough Phantoms in the NIHL, making the step up into his first full professional season with the Clan.

Still early in his career, Mitchell-King showed promising signs throughout his debut season in purple, continuing to develop his game at the professional level while gaining valuable experience within the Elite League environment. Regarded as a young up-and-coming British talent, the forward now returns for a second season looking to build on a strong first year in Glasgow.

Speaking after agreeing his extension, Mitchell-King said:

I’m really excited to be returning to Glasgow for my second season. I learned a lot last year and I’m looking forward to continuing to build on that this season. I believe this is an exciting time to be a part of the Purple Army, and I can’t wait to get started again!

Everyone at the Clan would like to congratulate Austin on his return and we look forward to seeing him back in purple for the 2026/27 campaign.
