Derek Gaston Signs for East Fife

East Fife Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of experienced goalkeeper Derek Gaston on a 1-year deal, subject to SFA approval.

The 39-year-old arrives at Bayview following his spell with Stirling Albion and will compete with Matty Rollo for the No. 1 jersey

Derek began his senior career with Albion Rovers before making the move to Greenock Morton in 2012. During a highly successful seven-year spell at Cappielow, he established himself as one of the most dependable goalkeepers in the Scottish game.

He later joined Arbroath, where he previously worked with the current East Fife management team, before making the move to Forthbank in the summer of 2024.
