The Glasgow Clan are delighted to announce that Dyson Stevenson will become the latest player to be honoured on the Glasgow Clan Warrior Wall during our Hockey Homecoming event on Saturday 22 August.
Stevenson joins an elite group of players whose commitment, leadership and impact on the club have earned them a permanent place in Clan history.
Arriving ahead of the 2021/22 season, Dyson quickly became a fan favourite through his relentless work ethic, physical style of play and unwavering commitment to the Clan jersey. Over three seasons, he established himself as one of the defining players of the era, serving the club as both Captain and Player Coach.
During his time in Glasgow, Stevenson made 140 appearances, scoring 23 goals and adding 41 assists for 64 points.
While his numbers on the scoresheet were impressive, it was his leadership and willingness to stand up for his teammates that made him such an iconic figure. Whether leading by example on the ice or defending the Clan badge, Dyson embodied everything it meant to wear the purple jersey and earned the admiration of supporters across the league.
His induction sees him join Scott Pitt, who was added to the Warrior Wall last season, alongside fellow Clan legends Jade Galbraith, Stefan Meyer, Matt Keith, Ash Goldie, Drew Miller, Kyle Jones, Ed McGrane and Bruce Richardson.
The Warrior Wall celebrates those players who have made an unforgettable contribution to the Clan (both Braehead and Glasgow), recognising individuals whose performances, leadership and passion have left a lasting legacy with the club.
Supporters attending the Hockey Homecoming event on Saturday 22 August will have the opportunity to witness Dyson’s official unveiling as the newest member of the Warrior Wall and celebrate the career of one of the Clan’s modern-day greats, before he laces up his skates once again to play in our Scottish Hockey Alumni event.
We look forward to welcoming Dyson back to Braehead as we honour a player who truly earned his place among the Glasgow Clan’s all-time warriors.
