The Partick Thistle Disabled Supporters’ Association plays a vital role in working with the club to improve facilities and the matchday experience for disabled supporters.
As it marks its third anniversary, it is important to recognise the progress it has made.
Last May, the DSA obtained charitable status, increasing its ability to raise funds for accessibility projects as well as social events for members and the wider community.
A bucket collection at our match against Arbroath in October raised £807.59. A quiz night in November, attended by players, management and many Jags legends, raised a further £2,330.
Importantly, the DSA also paid tribute that evening to Mark Rowantree, with £300 of the money raised donated to the MS Society in his memory.
The organisation exists to promote and advance the interests of everyone with any form of disability, visible or hidden, who wishes to support Partick Thistle.
