The Glasgow Clan delivered an explosive weekend, lighting up Braehead Arena before following it up with an impressive road victory to get their playoff push firmly on the road.

Clan vs Dundee Stars | 7–2 WIN (H)

The Clan wasted no time getting into their stride on Saturday night, producing a dominant offensive display in front of a sold-out home crowd.

Brady Risk opened the scoring ten minutes into the first period, sparking a rapid scoring burst. Robert Lachowicz doubled the advantage just three minutes later, with Mick Messner adding a third soon after. Brett Neumann then pushed the score to 4–1 before the first intermission following a reply from Otto Nieminen.

The Clan stayed firmly in control during the second period, with Neumann grabbing his second of the night and Hugo Roy also finding the net. Risk sealed his brace late in the game to round off a commanding 7–2 victory.

Special teams played a key role, with powerplay goals from Messner, Neumann, and Risk helping the Clan maintain their momentum throughout the contest.

Manchester Storm vs Clan | 4–2 WIN (A)

Sunday saw the Clan travel to Altrincham – traditionally a tough venue – but they produced a composed performance to secure another two points.

Rylan Schwartz opened the scoring midway through the first period, setting the tone for a tightly contested game. Tensions ran high throughout, with a combined 29 penalty minutes served between the teams.

Despite the physical nature of the contest, the Clan remained focused. Brady Risk continued his outstanding weekend form with his third goal across the two games, while Brett Neumann added another powerplay strike. Cade Neilson’s late empty-net goal secured a deserved 4–2 road win.

Storm goals from Bradly Jenion and Harrison Caines proved not enough to derail the Clan’s control of the game.

The Clan now turn attention to another crucial weekend as the race for playoff positioning intensifies.

Friday 6 March – Guildford Flames (H)

The Flames make the trip north to Braehead Arena in what could prove a pivotal matchup. The Clan are still searching for their first win against Guildford this season, with several previous meetings decided in tight fashion.

With Guildford and Coventry sitting just above the Clan in the standings, securing two points on Friday could significantly shift momentum in the playoff race.

Pre-Game: HER 3v3 Tournament

Fans attending Friday’s game can also enjoy the HER 3v3 tournament, with doors opening at 4:30pm and the first game starting at 4:45pm.

The tournament will showcase top female talent from across the home nations in a fast-paced, four nations–style 3-on-3 format designed to highlight the speed, skill and intensity of the women’s game.

Saturday 7 March – Nottingham Panthers (A)

The Clan then travel south for their final meeting of the season against the Panthers. Results in the series have been mixed, making this a key opportunity to pick up valuable points.

With the regular season entering its decisive stretch, every point remains critical as the Clan continue their push to climb the standings and secure a stronger playoff seeding.
