Robbie Crawford has signed a one-year contract extension with the club, securing his services for the 2026/27 season.
Currently enjoying his second spell as a Partick Thistle player, Robbie has been an important part of Mark Wilson’s midfield this term with 29 appearances made across all competitions and four goals scored.
Crawford kicked off the season in excellent form, scoring twice during the Premier Sports Cup group stages, winning the club’s July Player of the Month award and starting our first 14 competitive matches before injury forced him out of the team.
He would make his comeback in January as a substitute against former club Ayr United before returning to the starting line-up against St. Johnstone the following week and he’s featured in every game since.
Now, as he edges closer to 100 appearances for the club, Crawford has committed to another year in red and yellow.
Thistle boss Mark Wilson said:
“When I became Head Coach last summer Robbie was one of the handful of players we had in the building and he bought into what we were trying to do immediately. In a key position in the middle of the park, his energy gave us real impetus in and out-of-possession.
“He’ll do whatever is asked of him and is more than happy to get stuck in and take part in the less glamourous aspects of the game which I don’t take for granted. He’s the epitome of a team player and that’s reflected by how well-liked he is in the dressing room.”
