Cammy Logan contract option triggered

The club has exercised its option to extend Cammy Logan’s Thistle contract by a year, keeping the defender in Maryhill until the summer of 2027.

Cammy joined the club back in July after a successful trial period during which he produced a goal and an assist in 90 minutes of pre-season action and that attacking involvement carried on into the competitive action with the 24-year-old netting Thistle’s first goal of the season against Edinburgh City at Meadowbank.

All-in-all the Hearts youth product has made 23 appearances for the Jags so far including 12 starts in all competitions and he’ll be back for more next season.

Thistle Head Coach Mark Wilson said:

“Opportunities haven’t been plentiful for Cammy this season but he’s been a real professional and a positive influence on the squad. He consistently brings a high standard to training and whenever we’ve had to call upon him, he’s been ready.

“We want a squad full of players who we can rely on and adding Cammy to the list of players that we already have signed up for next season only enhances the depth and competition we’ve got – especially in defence.”
