The Glasgow Clan are delighted to announce the signing of Canadian forward Ross Armour for the 2026/27 Elite Ice Hockey League season.

The 28-year-old becomes the 15th player confirmed on Head Coach Mike Sirant’s roster as preparations continue for the new campaign.

Armour arrives in Glasgow following a productive season with the Nottingham Panthers, where he recorded 45 points (21 goals, 24 assists) in 70 appearances across all competitions. Standing at 6ft 2in, the forward brings a combination of size, skill, and EIHL experience to the Clan lineup.

Born in British Columbia, Armour enjoyed a successful collegiate career with Bemidji State University in the NCAA before turning professional. Since then, he has built an impressive résumé across North America and Europe, featuring in the ECHL and Germany’s DEL2.

Since arriving in the UK ahead of the 2025/26 season, Armour quickly established himself as a reliable offensive contributor and valuable presence on Nottingham’s powerplay unit. His nine powerplay goals led the Panthers and were tied for the most in the EIHL during the regular season.

Speaking after signing with the Clan, Armour said:

I’m excited to join the Glasgow Clan and be a part of what the organisation is building. I’ve heard nothing but great things about the players, staff, management, and fanbase, and I can’t wait to get started.
My goal is to contribute to the team’s success in any way I can, help the team win hockey games, and compete for a championship this season.

Director of Hockey Operations Zach Vinnell said:

Ross is an important signing for our organisation. He is a high-character player who competes the right way every night and brings valuable experience at this level. He has consistently shown the ability to contribute offensively while impacting the game in all three zones. Ross knows what it takes to win and has been part of successful teams throughout his career. We’re excited to work with him and believe there is still another level to his game that he can reach with us.

Armour’s signing takes the number of players announced for the 2026/27 season to 15, with further roster announcements expected throughout the summer. Armour will wear #19 on his jersey.
