Liam Newton Signs Contract Extension with East Fife

East Fife Football Club is delighted to announce that Liam Newton has signed a one-year contract extension, keeping him at Bayview for the 2026/27 season.

A product of the club’s youth system, Liam is set to enter his seventh season as part of the first-team squad, having progressed through the East Fife Under-20s setup to become a familiar face in black and gold.

The 24-year-old has made 177 appearances for the club to date, scoring seven goals, and has established himself as a valued member of the squad through his commitment, consistency and connection to the football club.

Last season was unfortunately disrupted by injury, limiting Liam’s involvement, but he has now returned to full fitness and is ready to begin preparations for the new campaign.
