Logan Chalmers has left the club following the expiry of his contract.
The club were in discussions with Logan about a potential contract extension but he has opted to move on.
A product of the Dundee United youth system, Chalmers arrived in Maryhill from the Tannadice side in the summer of 2024.
He debuted for Thistle against Montrose during the Premier Sports Cup group stages and would go on to get his first Jags goal against Queen’s Park three months later, sparking a tremendous run of form which saw him finding the back of the net and teeing up teammates regularly.
Logan finished his first season in Red and Yellow with seven goals and nine assists, setting up more goals than any fellow Jag, and that form carried into the season just gone as he kicked off the campaign by scoring seven times in 14 games across all competitions.
In totality, he managed 12 goals and nine assists during the 2025/26 season, bagging a crucial equaliser in the team’s play-off semi-final triumph over Dunfermline Athletic.
The club would like to thank Logan for his contributions during his time at Firhill and wish him all the best for the future.
Thistle Head Coach Mark Wilson said:
“In my 16 months as part of the first team management set-up, Logan’s been one of the most consistent performers in the squad, producing goal involvements galore while also buying into the work ethic of the group.
“He was a big part of what got us off to such a strong start last season and scored a big goal at an important time in the play-offs too. He’ll be missed and leaves with the best wishes of everyone here at Thistle.”
