Aberdeen Lynx to Host U14 Draft Development Event at Linx Ice Arena

Aberdeen Lynx Ice Hockey Club will host a Draft-style development event for U14 players at the Linx Ice Arena on Saturday 9 May.

Running from 16:00 to 22:00, the session is open to players born in 2012 and 2013, offering an opportunity to take part in a structured evening built around game play in a competitive setting.

The event follows a Generate-style format, widely recognised within Scottish ice hockey as a key part of the development pathway.

Players will be drafted into teams on the day in a Generate-style format, bringing together players from different clubs to compete across a series of games throughout the evening. The structure reflects the Scottish Ice Hockey Generate approach, giving players the chance to play in new line combinations and adapt within a competitive game environment.

Aberdeen Lynx continue to support player development across all age groups, and this event provides an additional opportunity for U14 players to challenge themselves, experience a different format, and spend time on the ice in a competitive environment.

Places are open to all eligible players, with registration available online:
