CaCee McKenna joins PTWFC

Partick Thistle WFC are pleased to announce the signing of CaCee McKenna ahead of the 2026/27 season.

A product of the Rangers academy, CaCee has been a prominent feature on loan at Spartans where she saw her 2024 loan spell extended through the 25/26 campaign, her first seasons in senior football.

The midfielder’s effort through her 53 appearances for the SWPL2 outfit earned her international breakthrough as she clocked a hat-trick of appearances for Scotland in the UEFA under 19s Championship.

She now arrives at Petershill Park to take a place in the heart of the Thistle midfield.

Upon signing CaCee Said: “I’m excited to become a Partick Thistle player. It’s a club that has a history of developing and giving young players a chance. Hopefully I can grab that chance.

“The first few nights of pre-season have been tough, but everyone has made me feel really welcome so it’s been enjoyable.”

Thistle Manager, Gary Holt said: “CaCee is a young player but one that has experience in playing a lot of senior football already after her spell at Spartans where she also got experience in the top flight.

“We want to build a positive football culture here at the club and she’s a player who will help do that and contribute off the pitch as well as on it and that is important”
