Due to severe weather warnings for the Glasgow area this weekend, we have taken the decision to temporarily dismantle the city end LED scoreboard ahead of tomorrow’s match against Stenhousemuir.
The U.K. Met Office have issued a yellow wind warning which is set to take effect across Scotland a few hours before kick-off so with that in mind and having held discussions with the scaffolding company who set up the scoreboard, it was decided that this is the best course of action.
We apologise to anyone who had requested a half-time shoutout on the screen this weekend – all messages will still be read out over the PA system during the break.
This week’s adverse weather has not impacted the playing surface at the WrightKerr Stadium at Firhill, there is no pitch inspection planned and tomorrow’s game is expected to go ahead as scheduled.
