The Glasgow Clan can today confirm an exciting line-up of pre-season events and fixtures ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, with six action-packed dates coming to Braehead Arena throughout August and September.

Fans can look forward to a celebration of Scottish hockey, international opposition and the return of fan favourite events as preparations begin for the new Elite League season.

Hockey Homecoming returns

The pre-season begins on Saturday 22nd August with our Hockey Homecoming at Braehead Arena.

Hockey Homecoming brings together the Scottish hockey community for an afternoon celebrating the sport, with event timings to be confirmed in due course.

The popular HER 3v3 Tournament returns after its successful debut in March, while supporters can also enjoy the Scottish Hockey Alumni Event, bringing together some of the biggest names from Scottish ice hockey history.

One of the highlights of the day will be the official unveiling of the Glasgow Clan’s 2026/27 jerseys, as the club reveals its brand-new home, road, alternate and warm-up jerseys ahead of the new season.

Fans will also get their first opportunity to see the 2026/27 Glasgow Clan squad together on the ice, as the team is officially introduced ahead of the upcoming campaign.

The Clan can also confirm that former captain Dyson Stevenson will return to Braehead Arena for the event, where his hockey banner will be officially unveiled on the arena wall in Section G in recognition of his contribution to the club. Further details surrounding the ceremony will be announced in the coming weeks.

Tickets for Hockey Homecoming are priced at £10 for adults and £6 for children, regardless of seating area.

Dundee Stars visit Braehead

The following day, on Sunday 23rd August, the Clan welcome the Dundee Stars to Braehead Arena for the first pre-season game of the summer.

Face-off is scheduled for 4:00pm as the Clan get their preparations underway against Elite League opposition.

European opposition comes to Glasgow

International competition arrives in Glasgow over the following two weekends as the Clan welcome clubs from Latvia, Ukraine and Germany.

The first visitors are HK Liepāja from Latvia, who face the Clan on Friday 28th August with a 7:30pm face-off.

A day later, Saturday 29th August, Ukrainian side HK Kyiv Capitals make the trip to Braehead Arena for a 7:00pm face-off.

The following weekend sees German DEL2 outfit ECDC Memmingen Indians visit Glasgow for two games, taking on the Clan on:

  • Friday 4th September – 7:30pm
  • Sunday 6th September – 4:00pm

The fixtures provide an excellent opportunity for supporters to see the new-look Clan squad tested against a variety of European opposition before the competitive season begins.
