East Fife Welcome Young Ambassador Jacob McDonald to Bayview

East Fife Welcome Young Ambassador Jacob McDonald to Bayview

Tomorrow, we welcome Young Ambassador Jacob McDonald and his dad Kenny to Bayview for a very special milestone – Game 21 of 42.

Jacob, 10, who has ASN and is sensory too, from Dundee, is taking on an extraordinary challenge – walking 10 laps of every professional football pitch in Scotland, 42 stadiums in total, to raise funds for The Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust in memory of his mum.

Having already completed 8 bridges across the UK raising over £30,000, Jacob is now on his 42 Grounds challenge. Going into Saturday he has completed 20 grounds and 200 laps, raising nearly £9,000 for this challenge.

Game 21 at East Fife marks halfway – 210 laps after Saturday – during Pulmonary Fibrosis Awareness Month. Every step helps provide a discounted holiday with Haven, vital support, wheelchairs, scooters, stairlifts at no cost to patients living with pulmonary fibrosis.

As Jacob walks around the pitch tomorrow, we’d be incredibly grateful if you could show your support with a round of applause and, if you’re able, make a donation to help him continue this amazing journey.

Supporters who are able to do so can also contribute to Jacob’s fundraising efforts through his JustGiving page.
