Applications are now open for Thistle fans who wish to take on a role at the heart of the club as a Fan Representative Director.
Since 2024, Fan Representatives have served on the club board, providing a vital bridge between the wider Thistle fanbase and the Club’s Board of Directors. They are there to ensure supporter voices are at the heart of the Club’s decision-making and culture, and to improve engagement and communication with the 2,500+ fan owners.
Alistair Gray was re-elected as a Fan Representative Director in late 2025 and The PTFC Trust are now seeking expressions of Interest to fill the remaining vacancy for a Fan Representative Director.
The successful candidate will sit directly on and work closely with the rest of the Partick Thistle Football Club Board, ensuring that supporter perspectives, values and long-term interests are actively represented in all major strategic decisions. They will serve a term of just over two years on the Club Board, until the late 2028 Annual General Meeting.
This role requires a dedicated individual who can balance the passion of being a fan with the professionalism, confidentiality and objective judgement needed to govern a modern professional football club.

The deadline for submitting an expression of interest is Sunday 30th August 2026at 23:55 BST(though applications are encouraged before then). It is anticipated that the beneficiary ballot will take place in mid to late September 2026.
This will allow the successful candidate to join the Club Board before its next AGM, which we anticipate will be in late 2026.
