Glasgow Clan Sign British Goaltender Dan Norton

The Glasgow Clan are pleased to announce the signing of 21-year-old British goaltender Dan Norton for the 2026/27 Elite Ice Hockey League season.

Norton joins the Clan from the Leeds Knights organisation, where he spent last season on a two-way deal between the Leeds Knights in the NIHL and Leeds Knights 2 in NIHL 1.

The young netminder arrives in Glasgow as the club’s third goaltender and will join the Clan’s goaltending group alongside goaltender Liam Soulière.

The move provides Norton with an exciting opportunity to train within a full-time Elite League environment and continue his development at the highest level of British ice hockey.

Speaking on joining the Clan, Norton said:

I’m excited to be joining the clan this season, I’ve heard great things about Glasgow from the fans to the atmosphere on match night. I just can’t wait to get going!
