Josh Clarke called up to Northern Irish senior squad

Josh Clarke has been called up to the Northern Ireland men’s senior squad for their upcoming play-off tie against Italy on 26th March.

If Michael O’Neill’s side can get the better of the Azzurri in Bergamo then they will face the winner of Wales v Bosnia and Herzegovina away on 31st March for a place at this summer’s World Cup.

Josh is back amongst the Northern Irish first team set-up having featured in five matchday squads for his country previously, including one earlier this season against Luxembourg at Windsor Park.

As a result of his selection, the 21-year-old will be unavailable for our upcoming William Hill Championship fixtures against Raith Rovers and Ross County.
