The Red and Yellow Army backing Mark Wilson’s Partick Thistle during the 2026/27 campaign has been bolstered by the 55 season tickets provided to the local community thanks to Jags For Good’s season ticket fundraiser!
The initiative, which has now been running for five years, aims to introduce new fans to Firhill by removing the financial barrier which might otherwise prevent them from coming along to a game.
Thistle fans, supplemented by a donation from the first team squad, raised a remarkable £6,376 with every penny being matched by the club and, consequently, numerous local residents will be getting their first experience of Maryhill’s finest this season, starting tonight as we take on Livingston.
Thistle Acting General Manager Graham McRoberts said:
“The work that Jags For Good do to support our local community is invaluable and their season ticket fundraiser has been a remarkable success since it started in 2022, evidenced by the way the supporters rally around it every summer.
“We were delighted to be able to match the sum raised again this year and I sincerely hope that those who get the chance to come along using the season tickets fall in love with the club in the same way that so many others have over the years.”
