Last night the Alan Rough Lounge was at capacity as the WrightKerr Stadium at Firhill hosted a book launch for ‘Partick Thistle: A People’s History’ by Kenny Pieper.
There were 200 supporters in attendance for an evening which featured an introduction from the author, a question-and-answer session with former Jags who contributed to the book and the opportunity to get copies signed by those Thistle legends.

The book was written as part of the club’s 150th anniversary celebrations and aims to tell the story of Partick Thistle through the eyes of its fans and players, encapsulating the emotions felt on and off the pitch when you are associated with Maryhill’s red and yellow.
Including tales of travelling to Metz, winning league titles, watching Willie Sharp play and more; this collection of stories can take you on a trip down memory lane or teach you brand new things about the club you love.
The book remains available to buy online and you can order it by CLICKING HERE!
The club has now received purchased books which have been made ready for collection during normal office hours from Tuesday, 18th August at the Firhill Executive Offices.
The postage of books which have been ordered for delivery will begin next week.
