The club would like to thank all those who are departing for their contributions during their time at The Wyre Stadium at Firhill.

Kyle Turner has served Partick Thistle over two first team stints, playing 171 times and scoring 14 goals in Red and Yellow. The son of ex-Jag Tommy Turner, Kyle originally joined us from Dunfermline Athletic in 2021 and would later re-join the club from Ross County in 2024, contributing to a Premiership play-off final run in each spell. Operating primarily as a creative midfielder but also pitching in at full-back when called upon, the 28-year-old’s best moments at the club include scoring his first Jags goal in the fog against Raith Rovers and kickstarting our 2023 play-off campaign with the opener against Queen’s Park.

Zander MacKenzie’s Thistle journey began in 2017 when he joined the Partick Thistle Youth Academy at Under 12s level. Progressing through the age groups, he got his first taste of senior football when he featured in a pair of friendlies in 2021 at the age of 15 and he would go on to sign modern apprenticeship terms in Maryhill the following year. His competitive debut in July 2022 was the first of 16 appearances that season as he earned a three-year contract. His first Thistle goal came as a stunning volley in a 3-0 win over Queen’s Park in August 2024.

Scott Martin departs Maryhill to join Queen’s Park on a two-year contract. The midfielder arrived from Hamilton Accies last February as part of a swap deal involving Scott Robinson and made his debut later that week away to Falkirk. A serious knee injury in his fifth game for the club was expected to rule him out for a year but the midfielder returned ahead of schedule in a Scottish Cup tie against Forfar last November. He spent the back end of the 2025/26 campaign on loan at Queen’s Park where he will now sign on a permanent basis.

Dan MacKay joined the Jags from Hibernian in the summer of 2024. A Scottish Cup Final goalscorer during his time at Inverness, MacKay featured in three Premier Sports Cup group stages games, including a start against Motherwell, before a training ground injury put him on the sidelines before the start of the league season. Since then, Dan’s time in Maryhill has been hampered by injury and though he’d been back in full training over the latter part of the season just gone, Dan wasn’t selected in any matchday squads.

Academy graduate Che Campbell made his first team Jags debut in a Championship match against Dundee United in May 2024. Two months later, he put pen to paper on a two-year modern apprenticeship and would head to East Kilbride on loan thereafter. He featured for the Thistle first team again last July in the Premier Sports Cup against Stranraer before making another loan switch, this time to East Stirlingshire.

Another product of the Jags’ Academy set-up, goalkeeper Luis Cameron signed his modern apprenticeship alongside Che in the summer of 2024 and would feature on the bench for Thistle that July when the Jags visited Motherwell in the Premier Sports Cup. This past season he played in two pre-season friendlies, against Glenafton and Inverness, before making the temporary switch to Drumchapel United where he was a regular.

Oisin Smyth’s loan spell with the club comes to an end after a hugely successful season during which he played 29 times in Thistle colours. The Northern Irishman joined the club from St. Mirren on 1st September and debuted off the bench the following week in a 2-1 win over Airdrieonians, going on to start for the first time against Dunfermline Athletic at East End Park. His first Jags goal was the winner against Ross County at home in October and he would finish the campaign with four goals to his name.

Also on loan from Paisley, Fraser Taylor made the move to Maryhill on 29th January and made his first appearance as a substitute against St. Johnstone the following day. A warm-up injury before a game against Elgin City delayed further involvement for the creative midfielder but he would return in a 3-1 win over Ross County in March. Six further appearances followed including starts against Ayr United, Dunfermline Athletic and Arbroath.

Finally, Ethan Ingram joined us on 27th February from Dundee and made his first Jags appearance a day later against Arbroath. His first start came in a 2-0 win over Raith Rovers at Stark’s Park and he would stay in the team for an unbeaten seven starts until injury ended his season prematurely just before the start of the play-offs. His goal line block against Morton won the club’s Defensive Moment of the Season award at our Player of the Year dinner.

Thank you and best of luck for the future, from everyone at Partick Thistle Football Club!
