Thank You, Alan Trouten

East Fife Football Club can confirm that Alan Trouten will depart the club following the conclusion of his time at Bayview.

Since joining the club in June 2022, Alan has been a standout performer and a consistent goal threat in black and gold. Across his spell with East Fife, he made 136 appearances, scoring an outstanding 54 goals and firmly establishing himself as a hugely influential figure both on and off the park.

The 2024/25 season proved particularly memorable, with Alan finding the net 28 times – the highest single-season goal tally by an East Fife player since the 1960s. His exceptional performances throughout the campaign saw him deservedly named the PFA Scotland League 2 Player of the Year, recognition of both his quality and influence on the pitch.

Alan also captained the club during the 2025/26 season, showing leadership and professionalism throughout a campaign that was unfortunately heavily impacted by injury, limiting his time on the pitch
