The Glasgow Clan are delighted to confirm that Canadian forward Tristin Langan has agreed a contract extension, committing his future to the club following an outstanding debut season in Scotland.

Langan, who joined the Clan ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, quickly established himself as one of the Elite League’s most dangerous offensive threats, finishing the season with an impressive 72 points (26 goals, 46 assists) in 71 games. His consistency, creativity, and work rate made him a standout performer throughout the year, both at even strength and on the powerplay.

Among his most memorable contributions was a crucial powerplay goal in the playoff quarter-final second leg against the Belfast Giants at Braehead Arena, a moment that underlined his ability to deliver in high-pressure situations on the biggest stage.

Speaking on his extension, Langan said he is excited to continue building with the organisation and help push the team forward after a promising first year in Glasgow.

Since arriving, Glasgow Clan have benefited from his offensive intelligence, playmaking vision, and chemistry with key linemates, all of which played a significant role in the team’s push towards the post-season.

Head Coach Mike Sirant said:

Tristin is a crucial signing and I’m thrilled that he is returning to the Clan! Tristin proved last season that he is among the Elite League’s best forwards and would have received strong interest from other clubs. His re-signing shows that he believes in our organization’s vision and commitment to winning.
Tristin is a complete player who plays the game the right way and exactly demonstrates the “identity” we expect for the Clan. His work ethic, grit, and compete are exceptional and he is absolutely driven to win.

Langan’s return provides a significant boost to the Clan’s forward group as preparations continue for the 2026/27 campaign, with expectations high for another strong offensive season from the Canadian forward.

He now joins an already strengthened core that includes Mick Messner, Brady Risk and Captain Deven Sideroff, alongside the returning Steven Seigo on the blue line, giving the Clan a strong blend of proven Elite League production, pace, and experience. With that group forming a key part of the roster build, the Clan will be looking to build more consistency and offensive depth across the lineup heading into the new season.

Further roster announcements will follow in due course as the Clan continue to build towards the new season.
