We are partnering with Wolftuna Club once again this season after they signed up for another year as the Jags’ official recovery partners.
Founded by David Hanley, Aodan Mcintyre and Justin McSweeney, Wolftuna Club offer top of the range, purpose-built facilities which aim to improve mental focus and physical wellbeing.
Located in Whiteinch, in the West End of Glasgow, their wellness lounge features an infrared sauna and multiple ice baths which members of the first team squad have been using to aid their recovery after matches for over a year now.
Wolftuna’s branding can be seen in front of the John Lambie Stand at the WrightKerr Stadium at Firhill and Thistle season ticket holders can get 20% off a one-person Contrast Therapy booking using code PTFC20.
How to book:
Partick Thistle Sporting Director Ian Baraclough said:
“In modern football, recovery is seen as being every bit as important as preparation and that’s where the use of Wolftuna Club’s facilities has really benefited our players over the last 12 months.
“They have a wonderful set-up with the infrared sauna and contrast therapy – these are things that footballers might not normally get the chance to use so it’s fantastic that our guys get the opportunity through Wolftuna.”
David Hanley of Wolftuna Club added:
“It’s a pleasure to be working with Partick Thistle again for another season. Last year was a huge success from start to finish and we’re proud to continue building on that relationship.
“There’s a special feeling around the club this year, and we want to play our part by making sure the players are recovering properly, feeling at their best and ready to perform. Hopefully that extra support can help give the boys what they need to get over the line this season.”
Wolftuna’s Aodan McIntyre said:
“Recovery is such an important part of performance, especially across the demands of a full football season. Having the players regularly using the Wellness Lounge gives them the opportunity to properly rest, recover and prepare their bodies for what’s next.
“The benefits of the facilities we have here are genuinely massive, and if we can help give the players that extra edge and an extra yard on the park, then we’re doing exactly what we set out to do.”
