Euan Henderson has signed for the club on a two-year deal, subject to Scottish FA clearance.

The 25-year-old joins from Airdrieonians where he scored 19 goals in 47 appearances last season, finishing as the sixth-top scorer in the Championship.

A versatile forward, Henderson made his professional debut as a 16-year-old for Hearts against Celtic in May 2017 and would make a further 13 senior appearances for the Jambos the following season.

The first loan spell of his career took him to Links Park to play for Montrose and he would score five times for the Angus side as they finished fourth in League 1.

Two seasons around the Hearts’ first team followed, the latter of which was a title-winning campaign in the Championship wherein Euan scored three goals in 10 league games.

He would gain more loan experience subsequently with Alloa and Queen’s Park and the stint with the Wasps proved particularly fruitful as he fired in 17 goals in 29 matches.

He departed Hearts permanently in 2023 to join Hamilton Accies where he spent two years before making the switch to Airdrie last summer.

Thistle Head Coach Mark Wilson said:

“I’m thrilled to welcome Euan to the club. He’s a player who we were watching closely all season long and we’ve been impressed by what we’ve seen.

“Hitting double figures in the Championship is no mean feat and he can get his goals in lots of different ways. He’s got pace to go in behind, makes intelligent runs through the middle and from out wide and is dangerous from dead balls too.

“I’m confident that he’ll fit our style of play nicely and I can’t wait to start working with him when we come back for pre-season later this month.”
