Oisin Smyth, Logan Chalmers and Tony Watt are all set for extended spells on the sidelines as a result of their respective recent injuries.
Firstly, Oisin Smyth suffered a partial tear of the posterior cruciate ligament in the latter stages of our 0-0 draw with Arbroath on 28thFebruary and is expected to miss a further eight weeks of action.
Logan Chalmers sustained a quadricep injury during a training warm-up ahead of our Scottish Cup quarter-final tie against St. Mirren and is set to miss the next six weeks.
Lastly, Tony Watt injured his hamstring during the first half of Friday night’s 2-1 win over Greenock Morton at Cappielow and it is anticipated that he will be ruled out for eight weeks.
Oisin, Logan and Tony have each started their rehabilitation programmes in conjunction with the club’s medical staff and everyone at The Wyre Stadium at Firhill wishes them the very best for their recoveries.
